This place is super cute. The service is great and our waitress was really nice. You can tell they get a lot of regulars. I loved the random mugs you get your coffee in.

My my goodness! Bambi's cafe is the best place around. Award winning apple pie is delicious and tasty I have ever had in many years. Very friendly and quaint atmosphere. Enjoy your food while watching the planes fly in and out. Love the food and great service!

Cute spot! My almost 4 year old loved the few times he got to see the planes move around. Food was delicious and the portions were generous. I had the Kentucky Hot Brown - I'd never had anything like it before and it was seriously tasty. There's no kids menu, but there are a few kid-friendly options. Ice Tea could've been brewed a little stronger. But the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable.

Former employee who watched prep cook Karen drop a ham steak on the ground and pick it up cooked it and served it to a customer out of fear of losing my job I was told not to say anything to the bosses once I did I lost my job and was called a liar so if you wonder why your food was bad that might be the reason why.....p.s. it was all on camera too and she still works there strongly for not recommend unless you’d like to get food poisoning

My favorite breakfast spot in Hemet. Food is great and the location next to the hangars at Hemet-Ryan Airport s befitting of the aeronautical motif in the design of the cafe. This place gets crowded at times but it is well worth the wait.

The service was great. A server name Kim was so nice and professional I will make it a point to be in her section.

Excellent food and service. This restuarant is open for breakfast and lunch only (til 2:30) and is a small venue. So be prepared to wait to be seated.

Staff's great! Food is always great and it's got great appeal being on the airport. It's fairly small so you might have to wait a bit for seats during peak times but it's worth it

This is a nice friendly neighborhood diner! Good food. Good service. Tables or bar seating inside. Covered deck seating outside where you can bring your pooch and watch the planes taxi by.

Wow, what a great little cafe! Service was quick and my special for breakfast was two eggs, two sausages and two blueberry pancakes. The waitress was very friendly. Definitely our new place to go to!

Best breakfast I have had in many years. Wonderful people working there that made it feel like home. Love the airplane models and pictures and the view of the airfield. This is a one of a kind special place and you get to eat with pilots and airplane people.

I'll just say it this way: I love Bambi's. There's just something idyllic and iconic about eating at a little diner on the outskirts of town located on a still active airstrip that served as a training base for WWII pilots. The food is homemade style and served in a timely manner by friendly staff. Just make sure on clear sky days to get there early before the pilots swoop in and gobble up all the biscuits and gravy 😊 Be sure to leave room for a slice of one of Bambi's pies! 🥧

Unique location. Watch the planes come and go. Comfort food and friendly service. Doesn't get much better than that.

I had breakfast in the other morning and for a little hole-in-the-wall asking was good to that a good little restaurant I give it to five stars all the way and the people are great there they're friendly highly suggest to Hangar One I never even thought about stopping there before but damn it was good

We came to Hanger 1 with high expectations based on the reviews and our experience at other airport cafe’s. However, we were very disappointed in the food. The biscuits and gravy were cold. The chili omelet was not cooked. The cafe lacked any hint of being home cooked/prepped. The chili and corned beef hash tasted like they were straight from the can. The coffee, service and view were great though. Sorry to say, we will not return ☹️

Very cute little restaurant...good food. The place was packed, so our poor waitress was swamped. Still worth the wait and she was very nice.

I always love coming here. The food is freshly made, the staff is polite and friendly and it's a very clean place to eat. On top of that, you can see the airplanes come in and take off! Great place to take the kids in the early morning if they like airplanes! You can sir it on the patio and watch them take off!

This is a clicky type of cafe since it is mostly for pilots and their customers or crew but they accept anyone who walks through the door as family; seating is limited inside but there is also a covered porch outside, sort of a nostalgic type of place I would say. Service is good, food is good but nothing frilly or fancy, just the basics which is okay but a little on the pricey side for what you get. This would be the type of place where everyone knows your name if you chose to go in enough which has been lost to commercial type franchising. If you want to experience a down-to-earth atmosphere, simple menu and take a step back in time or just watch the planes coming in or going out (fun for the kids) type of dining then this is the place! they do not serve dinner as they close at 2:30 p.m.

This is a fun place for breakfast or lunch.The two breakfast orders and hamburger were good quality. It was very busy when we were here midday on a Saturday. This was my first time, but I'll be back.

Great food, great service. Servers are so nice & friendly. You can watch the planes take off & land while you eat. Open from 6:30 am till 2:30 pm. Handicapped parking available. On Walden Weaver off Cawston just north of Stetson.

The food is always great just wish they can do something about all the Flys outside. Put up something to help keep the Flys away as best as possible.
